Overview franchises
This model allows anyone with a certain amount of capital to start a business with the support of an established brand.
Franchises are a great investment option for those who have capital and want to try their luck with a proven business that allows them to make a monthly profit. In simple words, this modality consists of a type of contract in which one company transfers to another the right to market certain products or services within a certain geographical area and under certain conditions.
In this contractual relationship there are two main figures:
- Franchisor: Who collects the marketing rights so that the franchising company can use its brand, commercial name and design of the establishment
- Franchisee: is the owner of the business and who makes the necessary investments for its start-up.
He also pays a fee to the franchisor to use his brand. Thus, anyone who has a certain amount of capital can start a business with the support of a company with experience in the field, who will provide training, supplies and support so that "he is alone" when undertaking.
